I started Skip with a simple goal of helping people go on safer first dates.

As the only brother of four sisters, dating safety has always been deeply personal to me. I wanted to build a solution that gives every woman the option to require a background check and deal breaker screening before any first date, no matter how the connection began.

That vision has guided everything we have built, including background checks with SSN verification and ID review, Date Cards, deal breakers, date reviews, and privacy features.

While no tool can eliminate every dating risk or guarantee safety, my hope is that Skip can help people make more informed dating decisions that lead to safer first dates.
